Artillery and painting challenge plans

My VBCW collection is nearly complete but I needed some artillery support. I purchased these from Reiver Castings but they didn't have any mortars so I scratch built these from wire spears and the middle of a Biro

The 2 Newcastle fans in the last image are conversions from Northstar WW2 US infantry.

I also had 1 more figure to complete the cricket team

Next are Republican Roman and Carthaginian Armies for the Lino to mdf challenge (or whatever the ancients / medieval duel is currently called). I think "Wot no salt petre" is a better name
